WideLoad™ is a brand of Blooming Pty Ltd as trustee for the Anthony Ridout Family Trust. This notice covers the WideLoad website, beta app and enquiries.

Website and enquiries

When you contact us or request beta access, we may receive your name, contact details, organisation, role, location and anything included in your message. We use it to respond, administer the beta and improve WideLoad. We do not sell personal information.

Routes and saved runs

The beta has no user accounts. The load profile and saved runs are stored in the browser on that device. A shared-run link contains route labels and coordinates; anyone who receives the link may open that route, so it should be treated as movement information.

Permit PDFs

A selected permit PDF is read in the browser using an on-device PDF library; the PDF file is not uploaded to WideLoad. To locate the roads extracted from the permit, derived road-name searches are sent to third-party mapping and geocoding services.

Mapping and location services

Address searches, proposed routes, map layers and hazard checks call services operated by Queensland Government, OpenStreetMap community services and their infrastructure providers. If the user enables the live follow or centre-me functions, the browser requests device location permission and uses that position to show the user on the run.

Ask AI

The current Ask AI feature opens Claude with a prepared question that can include load dimensions, route endpoints, the number of pinned streets and whether a permit route is loaded. Users should review the prepared information before continuing with that third-party service.
